Valances can be the finishing touch to curtains, blinds, or even an undressed window. Theres many types of valances available, which can be made to match a variety of styles. |

Valances can be made to fit onto a headboard with velcro tape or hooks, or directly onto a track using hooks. Valances typically have a short drop normally depending on the drop of the curtains or personal taste. |

Another option instead of a valance is a hard pelmet. These are foam padded boards covered in a chosen fabric, which can be straight (most common) or shaped. |
