Meet The Team

Heather's journey in the textiles industry began in 1960s Nottingham. As a young
mother and entrepreneur, her drive to support her family laid the foundation for a
thriving business.

What started as a small venture quickly grew. Within months, Heather not realising
the enormity of the job found herself presenting a few pieces of fabric to Nottingham
University. Her wealth of knowledge and expertise left an impression, and this led to
a prestigious contract for wall-to-wall curtains in one of the large dining rooms,
marking the start of an exciting journey.

Heather

Joanne’s passion for textiles clearly came from her parents, as Heather daughter
she has grown up with the business, Joanne officially joined the team in 2006, but
her experience in the industry began long before then, initially gaining valuable
insights from her Dad's clothing business in Istanbul. Then after earning a degree in
Fashion, Marketing, and Communications, she honed her retail expertise as a buyer
at Marks and Spencer before discovering her true calling in soft furnishings and
interiors.

Joanne's background provided a well-rounded foundation for her role heading up the
interior design and project management side of the company. She works closely with
several independent interior designers, helping to bring their creative visions to life.
Whether it’s providing support as an extension of their team or offering expert advice,
Joanne ensures every project is handled with care and precision and is often found
on site helping the team. She thrives on attention to detail and is dedicated to
guiding her clients through every decision, finding solutions to challenges, and
ensuring that every project is executed to perfection.
